Do You Have A Long Term Goal (or a few of them)?

Posted on 23 February 2010

There are lots of different strategies for tackling a long term goal. Today’s post is brief because the idea is simple. This one concept can help you achieve big goals far more effectively than simply wishing and hoping. Here’s the tactic:

Do one thing each day.

Look at your big goal and then do one thing, however small, every single day toward your goal. Some days you might have extra time or be more inspired and be able to do more work toward your goal. Other days you’re going to be slammed and you’ll only have a few minutes to chip away at your goal. But do something every single day and you’ll achieve your goal.

What’s on your goals list? What can you do today about it?

I have a long term goal than I really don’t know I had until I read this posting - I read Larry Becker’s Blog and think about if I can work in the stuff he’s talking about. Some of the subject matter -5% isn’t my cup of tea but most of it usually has me thinking.
